There so nice and respectful and the food was delicious and so flavorful!
A wonderful dinner after a long day if work...Our favorite place to order Chinese around....The food is so yummy and the service was excellent.
I haven’t eaten everything on the menu yet, but so far their food is Delicious! The staff here are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a small bar at the front of the restaurant near the entrance. And as you walk in there’s a booth style seating arrangement and you think “Gee, is this the whole restaurant??” But then, a few steps further into the restaurant, you see a whole other section and then you think “wow! This place is a lot bigger than it appears from the outside!” Their food is very delicious and you don’t have to wait very long to be served. And the prices are comparable to other similar restaurants, so you will not break the bank to enjoy a meal here with your family or friends.
The food has always been amazing. They have a very unique brown colored sweet and sour sauce that is my all time favorite. About 5 or so years ago they redid and expanded the inside of the restaurant and now the decor matches the food.
One of the few remaining old school Chinese restaurants.. Very nostalgic for me.. The beef teriyaki and egg rolls are delicious and the lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken are amazing, but I always get the veal cutlet with brown gravy and French fries.. Reminds me of Young China in East Providence which was my favorite restaurant growing up.. Please don't ever change anything about Hong Kong, it's amazing
My grandfather took my dad here when he was young. My dad took me here when I was young. And I will be taking my new baby daughter here too. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. We’ve had many special events here, and we still love gathering here with family. This is a Rhode Island staple, one of the original Chinese restaurants in the state. The atmosphere is salt-of-the-earth and the walls have a history. The prices have always been reasonable and the portions are generous. Their food is the gold standard in which I base all other Chinese food. The nice thing too is that if you find a favorite menu item, you’re guaranteed consistency. Trust me: a family favorite is the veal cutlet dinner. It tastes the same now as it did decades ago, which is perfect if you want to share in memories of good times past. I heard they had great buffalo wings which I found very surprising. I tried them and they did not disappoint!
It was usually great and I hate to say the food is a lot better now in some cases the new sweet and sour sauce doesn’t have the pickles anymore and if you show up to early and ask for hot tea I guess they don’t know what time there restaurant opens ?? Food is great though to bad the original people are gone besides one
